Looking for computer tutorials for learning all the basics. Everything to get a good insight.?

My dad wants to learn more about using computers and and i want advice on where to find some interesting tutorials for him to learn with, something that encourages pratical examples, he knows the baics but is worried about breaking something and likes factual advice to help him along. eventually he wants to use his skills to be able to do something with them, like become an ebay seller for example. I'm looking for something that will keep him intrested. Please do not suggest him going back to school or anything like that due to him being on a budget and so not able to afford higher education. The information should cover everything about computers. i will be there to help him along so it doesn't have to be baby talk. well!dont worry!internet is a far much better means of acquiring apt knowledge irrespective of domain.well if ur dad wish to learn the basics first(which i am not getting a clear picture as to what type of basics?)did u mean basics from running a computer or documentation like MS WORD%26lt;EXCEL%26lt;POWERPOINT or u meant something more advance?well if its about the above then first u need to get these programs installed on ur comp and making presentations using these is very easy as it will show u everything u want.besides this if he wants to use his skills or market his products i think he needs to purchase a licence with whatever site he is interested to work with.thats something he can do by noting down the phone no.or contact no.s which are usually given in the site because making his own website is a rigorous job because he atleasts need to know graphic designing and ppl these days prefer to rather hire a web developer instead as it saves time and gives a good value for money.and if he wishes to learn also in this regard,my friend ill suggest u to just have o google search with keywords as ';how to become e-bay seller';/';ebay seller';/';online marketing';/e-commerce';.i hope it will help ur dad!Looking for computer tutorials for learning all the basics.
