How do you record a computer tutorial into a video to post?

Like, if you want to post a tutorial in video form but you need a computer to do it, do you just put a camcorder in front of your computer screen, or is there some other way you can do it? If you don't know what I'm talking about this link shows a prime example.

Download a screen recorder program like hypercam2.

This program will record whatever is on your screen at a good frame speed. the only downside is a small watermark in the corner if you use the free version. I suggest using a microphone to narrate the video as well.

Download hypercam here:

A perfect program to fit your problem. DemoCreator's E-mail fuction is really right for your request. It can help you to make you own stunning tutorial. This program is quite easy to use. I use it to make my tutorial very often and help my friends to solve their problems.
freez screen video capture. Its software that captures anything you do on screen and saves it into a video file.
Look for a program called Fraps.
