How to record what your doing on your computer, like a tutorial?

ok I want to make a tutorial video, that shows what I am doing on my computer screen, so people can follow along.. is there some kind of program I need for this? or is there a way to do it already built in the computer? I have a built in web cam, but as far as i know it only records out, not actually within the computer... If anyone actually understands what I am asking, and knows how to do it, pleeeeease help. thanks.How to record what your doing on your computer, like a tutorial?

you need to have a screen recording software, like Camtasia Studio. what it does is it records whatever is on your screen, whether its a video you're watching or your own mouse/ typing movements. Camtasia can also record sound from video although it takes some extra steps to configure it if you want to use your PC mic as you go about your tutorial.





screen recording software are available both free versions and trial/ paid versions. you just have to search them on the net.
You'll need software for it. There's a commercial product called Camtasia but it's quite expensive. There's also a freeware product called CamStudio which is basically the same thing as Camtasia but free.

go to your programs..you should have a voice recorder there.it will record as well as save once your done.you just have to put it somewhere..sound recorder ..comes with most all computers good luck
